Aspire Law Welcomes Heidi E. Lunasin as our Newest Partner!

Written by Alina Lee

ATLANTA, Ga. (Sept. 3 2026) – Aspire Law, one of Atlanta’s fastest-growing boutique law firms, is excited to announce the addition of Heidi E. Lunasin as Partner. Heidi joins Aspire Law with deep experience in patent strategy and intellectual property counseling, further strengthening the firm’s commitment to helping clients protect innovation from the earliest stages of development.

Heidi leverages both her in-house and Big Law experiences to enhance client communication and success across patent law. Heidi understands the challenges in-house counsel face, and she believes that identifying business goals at the outset of strategy planning is key to efficiently directing the path of protection.

She develops patent strategies across a wide range of technology fields, including biotech, engineering, materials, medical devices, mechanical devices, and manufacturing methods such as additive manufacturing, molding, and technical textiles. Heidi loves to learn new technologies and work alongside designers, researchers in the lab, and the employees at the manufacturing facilities developing new processes or improvements.

Heidi’s extensive experience spans preparing and prosecuting patent applications, inventor education, product clearance, due diligence reviews, comprehensive patent searches, non-infringement and invalidity opinions, and the drafting and evaluation of intellectual property contracts. This breadth of experience positions her to develop comprehensive IP protocols for clients, including competitive patent review and enforcement programs.

“We are thrilled to welcome Heidi to Aspire Law,” said Alina Lee, Founder of Aspire Law. “Her deep technical knowledge of a wide variety of types of patents and patent services combined with her in-house perspective on patent and business strategy is an incredible asset.  Her collaborative, creative, and efficient approach to innovation matches the Aspire Law philosophy of practicing law. We take pride in providing a superior client experience defined by effective, efficient, and pleasant legal services. Heidi fits our model perfectly.”

“I’m excited to join Aspire Law and be part of a team that truly understands the business side of IP,” Heidi notes. “Alina has built something special here, and I’m looking forward to helping clients think strategically about protection from the very start of the innovation process.”
