CAREERS AT ASPIRE LAW

Don’t work your life away—live more

We’re creating a new model for legal careers where ambitious work, real ownership, and work/life balance can coexist.

Redefine What It Means to Succeed in Law

The hardest part about being a lawyer isn’t the work. It’s the way the work takes over your life:

  • the high billable hour requirements
  • working nights, weekends, and on vacation and holidays
  • the feeling that your time isn’t yours
  • the guilt of not being around family nor having time to enjoy life fully

You start living in two modes, working or recovering from working.

If you’re reading this and thinking, “I can’t do another year like this,” we get it. Aspire Law can be your reset.

At Aspire Law:

  • Remote work is the default, not a perk you have to negotiate.
  • Flexibility is built in, because adults don’t need permission to manage their day. You work when it’s the right time for you.
  • Billable hours are designed to be sustainable, so you can be at your best without being exhausted. Most of our attorneys bill less than 950 hours a year and work between 15 to 25 hours a week! They regularly enjoy time with friends, support their kids’ extracurriculars, and do bucket list activities without interruptions.
  • A culture-oriented firm that respects boundaries, not just productivity.
  • We’re building a firm where high standards and a full life coexist.

Who Thrives Here?

Attorneys who thrive at Aspire Law tend to:

See what our attorneys say about working at Aspire Law

“Beyond excelling as a cutting-edge modern law firm, Aspire Law is a haven for any attorneys and legal professionals striving for ‘work life balance.’ Employees are encouraged to put their health and well-being first, take breaks during the day, spend time with their friends and families, volunteer in their communities, and take vacations”

– Allison Bazinet, Partner
“Aspire Law’s emphasis on work-life integration, rather than just work-life balance, has profoundly impacted my life. I no longer feel like I’m juggling two separate lives; instead, Aspire Law supports me in seamlessly blending my personal and professional responsibilities, allowing me to thrive in both areas. The autonomy and flexibility I experience here are unlike anything I’ve encountered elsewhere. Whether adjusting my schedule for personal commitments or taking a mental health day, I always have the firm’s full support.”
– Full-time Associate attorney
“What I love about Aspire Law is the remarkable flexibility to work on our own terms, choosing both the hours and amount of work that suits us best. The culture here is one of encouragement and compassion, allowing us to take care of ourselves and our families without fear of employment consequences. We’re supported in trying new things and are encouraged to maintain a growth mindset, where mistakes are seen as valuable learning opportunities rather than setbacks.”
– Senior Associate attorney who works 20 hours a week
“Aspire Law’s well-being program of having flexible work hours and being fully remote really helped with the team’s efficiency. Employees can choose and work in their own time during their high-focus hours and wake up without being panicked by the alarm clock or getting dressed for work or worrying about the stress of commuting.”
– Office Manager who works 25 hours a week
“Aspire Law is the first company I’ve worked for where time away from the office, whether it be for a planned vacation, impromptu mental health day, time away for hobbies or side hustles, or a 30-minute walk outside, is not just encouraged but celebrated and supported. Every time I say that I will be away from the office, my team is cheering me on. They are respecting my boundaries by not contacting me while away and covering me by filling in the gaps made by my absence.”
– a former Senior Associate who worked 25 hours a week schedule that included a 4-day work week with Wednesdays off each week
