“R.J. is extremely knowledgeable in music publishing, literary publishing, and media and entertainment law. He was an integral part of our legal teams and was responsible for drafting publishing, option, license, and shopping agreements. R.J. ensured the company’s compliance with its licenses and assisted with tracking renewals. He also supported a wide range of legal inquiries, advising both the company and our creators to ensure projects were properly licensed, produced, and exploited. I highly recommend R.J. and am confident he would bring years of entertainment legal expertise, exceptional reliability, and meaningful value to any legal team.”

Legal Operations Manager at a global media company

“One of the most important lessons learned in my producing career came from the wisdom of R.J. Inawat.  Some confusion arose regarding an artist and the agreed-upon delivery terms.  R.J. proposed that rather than a legal issue, the situation might be best resolved as a relationship issue.  Indeed, this shift in focus from the fine print to the concerns of the person satisfied all parties successfully.  R.J.’s counsel has influenced my professional practice; many times I have relied on his just and practical perspective.”

Executive Office Administrator at a global non-profit organization

“R.J. has knack for dealing with people from various backgrounds and in different positions of authority.  His experience with various performing groups and venues gives him a wealth of knowledge and instincts to draw upon in crisis situations, making him a true problem solver.  He keeps his cool, gets the job done, and is fun to have around.”
